TO TURN OFF INDENT WITH TABS - Microsoft Word 97 and above

(If your paragraphs become automatically indented when you press the Tab key on the keyboard and you don't want this to happen, turn off "Automatic Indentation with Tabs.")

1) Click on Tools, then on Options, then on the Edit tab.

2) Click on "Tabs and backspace set left indent" to remove the checkmark next to it.

3) Click on OK.
