MOVING COLUMNS - Microsoft Excel

1) Click on the gray Column letter button at the top of the spreadsheet (for example, the gray "C" button). This will highlight the entire "C" column.

2) Click on Edit, then on Cut.

3) Click on the Column letter button where you want to insert the former "C" column (for example, click on the gray "F" column button).

4) Click on Edit, then on Paste.

Note: If you make a mistake, immediately click on Edit, then on Undo Paste.

TO INSERT THE CUT COLUMN BETWEEN TWO EXISTING COLUMNS:

1) Click on the gray Column letter button at the top of the spreadsheet (for example, the gray "C" button). This will highlight the entire "C" column.

2) Click on Edit, then on Cut.

3) Click on the Column letter button where you want to insert the former "C" column (for example, click on the gray "A" column button).

4) Click on Insert, then on Cut Cells.

Note: If you make a mistake, immediately click on Edit, then on Undo Insert Cut Cells.
