ADDITIONAL SOFTWARE YOU MAY WANT TO PURCHASE:  Microsoft Office 2013 Professional  (w/ Microsoft Access, their database program), if you want to splurge or if you need to create more professional documents, databases, slide shows, and so on, or Microsoft Office Home and Student 2013, which is less expensive, because it doesn't have the Microsoft Outlook e-mail/contact management program, among other things.

Prices are approximate and subject to change without notice.

Caution: If you purchase an Asus P9X79 Deluxe motherboard with an older BIOS chip, Windows 8.1 may not work very well. It is better to install Windows 7 instead. The BIOS is the firmware/software that controls the computer before Windows comes on and takes over.
